Am I Eligible to Donate?
Some criteria are fixed. Others are evaluated during screening. Here is a clear breakdown of what is required, what is reviewed, and what to expect.
To donate eggs, you must be 19–29 years old, have a BMI of 27 or below, be a US resident or citizen, and be a non-smoker with no active drug use. Additional factors — including ovarian reserve (AMH blood test), mental health history, and family medical history — are evaluated individually during medical screening and are not automatic disqualifiers.
These Requirements Are Fixed
These criteria are required before an application can move forward. They are not evaluated case by case.
What Gets Evaluated — Not Automatically Disqualifying
These factors are reviewed by our clinical partners during screening. Many donors who are uncertain about one of these areas are still cleared to donate after evaluation.
Schedule and Availability
The donation process is time-limited but requires reliable availability during the active cycle. Here is what to plan for.
Not Sure If You Qualify?
A lot of potential donors disqualify themselves before they even reach out — often unnecessarily. If you meet the basic age, BMI, and residency requirements, submit an inquiry. Our coordinators review each application individually and will tell you honestly whether you are a candidate.
